The deadline for application has been extended for applicants who do not need a visa for Switzerland. Please note that the scholarships for 2017/2018 have already been awarded.
Send an email to to express your interest in attending the program. Include the following documents with your email:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- University transcripts (Bachelor and Master degrees)
- Letter of motivation
- Research interests (for a MAS thesis)
Upon receipt of your documents, your qualifications will be assessed. If you meet all formal requirements you will be asked to apply online (Step 2).
NOTE: The scholarships available for students from the Global South have already been awarded for the MAS 2017/2018.
Submit an online application to the MAS program here*
After you have submitted your online application, you must send hard copies of the accompanying documents to ETH along with the signed online application form. The following documents are required:
- Transcripts of your university studies (Bachelor and Master)
- University diplomas
- One page MAS thesis proposal
- One reference from an employer or university professor.

After submitting the online application, send all application documents by regular mail (post) to:
Centre for Continuing Education
Your application will be processed as soon as the documents are received by the ETH Centre for Continuing Education. The Centre for Continuing Education will send you an official confirmation of acceptance to the ETH MAS program.
Apply for a scholarship or secure your own funding. Applicants that need a visa for Switzerland must prove that they have sufficient financial means to support living costs. Annual living costs in Switzerland are estimated at CHF 21'000 (approximately $21'000 or 19'500 Euro).
As soon as your application to the MAS is approved, contact the Swiss embassy in your home country to apply for a visa. For information on visa requirements, check here
